Our Team

  • Erin Crawford, LEP & Practice Owner

I have spent over 15 years in education, functioning in different capacities for school districts in Marin, Sonoma, and Contra Costa counties as well as in Newton, Massachusetts.

As a Marin County native, I graduated with honors from UC Davis, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology, and continued on to earn a Master’s degree in School Psychology from St. Mary’s College of California. Having started my career in Sonoma County, I moved with my family to Boston and survived 7 long New England winters before happily returning to the Golden State. I live in San Rafael with my husband and twin daughters. In my free time, I enjoy taking advantage of all San Francisco, Marin, and California have to offer, including jogging, hiking, and cheering on my beloved Niners and Warriors.

  • Alessa Kutten-Cottrell, M.S., CCC-SLP

I am a longtime educator, having worked with early childhood and toddler-age children for many years at Marin Primary and Middle School, in Larkspur California. Over my years of teaching young children, I realized that helping a child communicate unlocks their world.

I received my speech-language pathology masters degree from California State University, Northridge. I am skilled in providing both effective therapy sessions as well as conducting comprehensive assessments in order to plan for goals and individualized intervention.

Personal interests include practicing yoga, with 500 hours of teacher training completed. In addition, I love living in San Francisco, going on long urban hikes/walks, and discovering new places around the city.

  • Briana Wagner, LEP

I have been working in public education for 13 years, first starting my career as a kindergarten teacher and moving into my current role as a school psychologist. I have worked up and down California but Marin County is where my heart has found a home!

I obtained my bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Southern California and completed my training at San Diego State University with a Master’s in Education and an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology. I have since worked as a School Psychologist for the past 7 school years, working with all ages and in all settings from preschool to high school.

In my free time, I like to take my adorable Bernedoodle Mousse on hikes around Marin. I also run an Instagram account (@educationallypsyched) to support educators and parents learning together about school psychology, special education, and diverse learners.

  • Adrian Randal, LEP, LMFT

I have spent over 18 years in education, functioning in different capacities (school psychologist age 3-22, child therapist, and teacher of parenting classes) for Mt. Diablo Unified School District and Albany Unified School District.

I then earned a Master’s degree in body image and masculinity in New Zealand culture. After traveling extensively I continued on to earn an additional Master’s degree in School Psychology from California State University, East Bay. I live in Albany with my wife and two sons (17 and 19). In my free time, I enjoy taking advantage of all San Francisco, Marin, and California have to offer, including skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and photography.
